Tasting Notes
Burghound 91
All but bricked through. A highly perfumed, cool and pretty nose offers up notes of sous-bois, Asian style spices, dried flowers, in particular, rose petal and a hint of brown sugar. There is surprisingly good power and richness in the context of the vintage to the refined and well-delineated medium weight flavors that possess fine mid-palate density, all wrapped in a beautifully long finish that displays only a touch of acid tang. This is not a great LT but it is a really good ’73 that is drinking perfectly and should continue to do so.
