Tasting Notes
Burghound 94
A discreet application of wood is in evidence on the cooler yet slightly riper and decidedly spicier aromas of red and black currant, exotic tea and star anise nuances. The rich, delicious and notably denser medium-bodied flavors coat the palate with dry extract while delivering sneaky good length on the noticeably more structured and definitely more austere finale. I particularly like the fruit-acid-tannin balance and this should age effortlessly over the next 15 or so years.
