Tasting Notes
Vinous 93-95
The 2024 Suduiraut enjoyed an early development of botrytis in mid-September, so there is no passerillage. The second and third tries in mid-October formed the heart of the wine. It is very pure on the nose, less intense than the previous two vintages, offering wild honey, peach skin and light nectarine scents. The palate is well balanced with a fine thread of acidity. It is not as dense or unctuous as recent vintages, but there is wonderful tension with a pure and quite sensual finish. Excellent. 130g/l residual sugar.

100% Semillon. RS 130 g/l. 11.5 hl/ha. Cask sample.Burnished gold. Fresh and expressive on the nose with pineapple, mandarin and honeyed notes. Sweet palate but not heavy or overblown, tempered by the bitter-botrytised freshness and finish. Very pure and absolutely delicious. (JL)
