Vinous 86-88

The 2022 Beaune Les Boucherottes 1er Cru has a punchy nose, showing some stem addition that will require time to integrate. The palate is medium-bodied with a peppery entry, moderate depth, fine body and a very subtle meatiness toward the finish. It just needs to muster a little finesse. Tasted at merchants’ 2022 Burgundy tastings in London. [Neal Martin, 30/01/2024]

Once again there is an appealing air quality to the pretty blend of mostly red and dark cherry scents that exude a subtle earthiness. The sleek, refined and more generously proportioned, if less concentrated, flavors possess a beguiling texture while retaining good delineation on the youthfully austere, complex and balanced finale. While this should be capable of rewarding up to a decade of keeping, it should be approachable after only 4 to 5 years of keeping. [Allen Meadows, 01/04/2024]

We store in LCB Dinton Woods, giving us full control over our stock and client reserves.

The annual charge is £12.50 per 12x75cl (or £6.25 per 6x75cl). To store your wine collection at our Dinton Woods facility, please contact us for a quote.

Goods will be delivered to the address provided at order placement, provided it is a shippable address. We reserve the right to cancel orders to non-shippable addresses (e.g., USA dry states).

For UK delivery addresses outside mainland UK (e.g., Scottish Isles, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands), an additional delivery charge may apply. We will contact you with a quote.

Some international delivery addresses may incur additional surcharges. We will contact you with a quote.

We have no control over additional charges or supply restrictions applied by authorities in the destination area.

When placing your order, you may provide delivery instructions in case you are not available to receive the goods.

We require that goods be signed for or accepted by a responsible adult legally able to accept the goods.

Every effort will be made to deliver within 10 days; however, in rare cases, this may be longer.

Orders must be inspected at delivery, and any shortages or breakages should be reported to the carrier immediately before accepting the goods.

We will not be liable for any degradation in the quality of contents or packaging during transport by courier.
