Tasting Notes
Burghound 91-94
This is aromatically similar to the Echezeaux though with an even broader array of enticing spice elements. The medium-bodied flavors are not quite as dense but they are slightly finer with a bracing minerality suffusing the slightly raspy bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. This markedly compact effort is carrying quite a bit of gas which tends to accentuate structural elements. As such, my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt that this will display better balance once it’s racked.
