Tasting Notes
Burghound 93-95
Moderate generous wood stops short of fighting with the ripe, fresh and airy aromas of citrus confit, a plethora of floral elements and plenty of spice wisps. The exceptionally rich, saline and overtly powerful big-bodied flavors that palate staining thanks to the seemingly endless reserves of sappy dry extract that further adds to the sense of concentration of the bone-dry, youthfully austere and strikingly persistent finish. This bitter lemon-inflected Montrachet should also age effortlessly for as long as anyone would reasonably care to let it slumber.
