Tasting Notes
Vinous 87-89
The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin En Champ, blended with 50% whole bunches, has a light nose, perhaps just a little diffuse at the moment, needing the elevage to bind it together. But there is a nice confit note emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine acidity though it’s just a little short on the finish. Early drinking. Three barrels produced.
Anticipated maturity: 2024-2031
