Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 89
Aromas of dark cherries, spices and licorice introduce the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge, a medium to full-bodied, bright and fleshy wine built around supple tannins and lively acids. It’s a fine effort.

Here too the expressive nose reflects a background hint of petrol on the cool, pure and airy aromas of pear and apple compote, citrus confit and a hint of rosemary oil. There is fine volume to the solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that manage to be seductive yet focused while displaying excellent length on the clean and dry finale. This youthfully austere effort is excellent for its level and recommended.
