Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois 2009 tasting in London. The Dutruch Grand-Poujeaux 2009 has a refined, well delineated bouquet with freshness and vitality. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, very harmonious with a composed finish demonstrating succinct use of oak and top-class winemaking. Bravo! Tasted September 2011. We store in LCB Dinton Woods, giving us full control over our stock and client reserves.

The annual charge is £12.50 per 12x75cl (or £6.25 per 6x75cl). To store your wine collection at our Dinton Woods facility, please contact us for a quote.

Delivery

Goods will be delivered to the address provided at order placement, provided it is a shippable address. We reserve the right to cancel orders to non-shippable addresses (e.g., USA dry states).

For UK delivery addresses outside mainland UK (e.g., Scottish Isles, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands), an additional delivery charge may apply. We will contact you with a quote.

Some international delivery addresses may incur additional surcharges. We will contact you with a quote.

We have no control over additional charges or supply restrictions applied by authorities in the destination area.

When placing your order, you may provide delivery instructions in case you are not available to receive the goods.

We require that goods be signed for or accepted by a responsible adult legally able to accept the goods.

Every effort will be made to deliver within 10 days; however, in rare cases, this may be longer.

Orders must be inspected at delivery, and any shortages or breakages should be reported to the carrier immediately before accepting the goods.

We will not be liable for any degradation in the quality of contents or packaging during transport by courier.

The French artist Gerard Garouste has created the original artwork, called “Hommage au Baron Philippe”, to illustrate the label for Château Mouton Rothschild 2022. Gérard Garouste A leading... French painter, Gérard Garouste is a stand-out figure on the international art scene. He drew his inspiration from conversations with Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild and from the photographs of Baron Philippe he was shown. After playing with various ideas in his sketchbooks, the idea of a portrait of Baron Philippe, accompanied by the symbols of the ram, the front wall and the vine, soon came to the fore. The work took shape as a gouache which he naturally chose to call Hommage au Baron Philippe.
