Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 85-87
This cool terroir has produced a tannic yet attractive wine with lots of minerality, an elegant black cherry and slightly herbaceous note, good texture, and a traditional style. It is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc. It should drink well for a decade or more. (Tasted once.)

Crimson is beginning to lighten a little at the edges. Terroir fresh and very Cabernet on the nose with tannins in retreat. Clearly good classy stuff that’s drinking well now. I tasted it cellar-cool and the tannins were not obtrusive at all. Nice fruity length. This really reverberates on the finish and was a great buy en primeur!
