Tasting Notes
Richard Juhlin 92
Totally brilliant through and through! The vintage’s austere acidity is present as life insurance, but they haven’t gripped the wine so severely that it is unable to shine now. The house-style is given free rein and the fruit is luxuriantly exotic. It was probably tempting to make the Champagne sweeter, as the acids acidity is so marked. Happily, though, Moet has given a thought to the future and made a perfectly balanced, developable Champagne instead of putting all their money on immediate charm.
