Surprisingly similar in style to the 1982, fat, succulent, and very concentrated with a soft, rich, almost jammy concentration, this full-bodied, robust wine has a seductive lushness and will make excellent drinking. Anticipated maturity: Now. [Robert Parker, 01/01/1998]

Vinous 86

The 1983 Saint-Pierre has a light ferrous, rustic nose with touches of morels coming through, fully mature but perhaps better than I expected. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins, brown spices, leather and red peppercorns towards the finish. Since this came from magnum, drink sooner rather than later. Tasted at the chateau. We store in LCB Dinton Woods, giving us full control over our stock and client reserves.

The annual charge is £12.50 per 12x75cl (or £6.25 per 6x75cl). To store your wine collection at our Dinton Woods facility, please contact us for a quote.

Goods will be delivered to the address provided at order placement, provided it is a shippable address. We reserve the right to cancel orders to non-shippable addresses (e.g., USA dry states).

We have no control over additional charges or supply restrictions applied by authorities in the destination area.

When placing your order, you may provide delivery instructions in case you are not available to receive the goods.

Every effort will be made to deliver within 10 days; however, in rare cases, this may be longer.
