Tasting Notes
Richard Juhlin 93
Fruitier than the ’80 but without its restrained elegance. An aroma of mushroom cream and bread-like taste, with well-rounded edges. Fine apricot opulence in the middle taste gorgeously backed up by young gooseberry tones as well as the honey and chocolate of maturity. Perfect to drink in 2006!

Much livelier and crisper than the 1990 but with a more complex bouquet too. Focussed, tight still – incredible! – presumably a reflection of the exceptionally low yield. Extremely Pinot Noir – this wine has such innate energy that it revived palates flagging halfway through a particularly long feast (poor us), not least because it seemed such a perfect match with the salmon and liquorice.
Anticipated maturity: 1996-2014
