Tasting Notes
Burghound 93
Noticeable if slight notes of volatile acidity combine with densely fruited and ripe aromas that include nuances of spice, earth and sous-bois, all of which can be subsequently found on the rich, delicious, naturally sweet and enveloping flavors that possess a beguiling mouth feel as it’s at once opulent yet refined, all wrapped in a sappy and mouth coating finish that is impressively persistent. This is now fully mature with no unresolved tannin remaining and as such it risks becoming fragile if held for the longer-term and as such I would suggest drinking up over the next few years. Tasted four time with similar notes save for one bottle that was unduly fatigued and clearly displaying its age.
